#BUSTED: Three teenagers arrested for assault on Indian student in Melbourne

Police in Melbourne have arrested three teenagers over the brutal assault on a 20-year-old Indian student.

The two 17-year-old’s and one 16-year-old have been charged with assault and robbery for the attack on accountancy student Manrajwinder Singh on Sunday in Birrarung Marr.

Mr Singh, who remains in an induced coma in a hospital after being beaten up by a gang of up to eight men described as being of “African” origin.

The young student was targeted as he waited for a train along with two friends.

A search is on for five others believed to be involved in the incident.

Reports say the attackers are part of a gang called “Kill Your Rivals” which has routinely targeted vulnerable people and those of “Indian” appearance.
