(UK Asian 17th Feb) Just two weeks after being unveiled as the latest Bollywood addition at one of the UK’s hottest attractions – Madam Tussauds – the seemingly tireless Hrithik Roshan is all set to appear on small screens right round Great Britain; leading no doubt to plenty of tea cosies being disrupted and plenty of respectable women of all ages going weak at the knees. Producers of Sky’s ‘Just Dance’ have confirmed the Bollywood Superstar will appear on the hit talent contest as a member of the jury which will choose a winner from among some of the most accomplished – not to mention undiscovered – dance talent from across the globe.
Hrithik is no stranger to fleet-footedness, having established himself as one of the most accomplished dancers in an industry where being able to strut your stuff is a prerequisite for entry. Hrithik announced himself to the world with a virtuoso dance performance in his debut feature ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai”. Hi exquisitely choreographed, at times mind-bending and often elegant moves have been the highlights of such monster hits as ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Krissh’.
Auditions for ‘Just Dance’ have already begun and dancers in the UK are being invited to participate at the auditions which will run through to the end of February. The winner will travel to India to represent the UK in what is being touted as one of the biggest dance shows on Indian television.
