#Invincible: Stan Lee’s ‘Chakra’ to be live-action Bollywood re-make

The Legendary creator of such iconic characters as Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk has agreed to do a Bollywood adaptation of one of his latest creations, ‘Chakra: The Invisible’.

Stan Lee last green-lit an animated version of Chakra for Indian TV and will officially support a live action version, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“We’ve set up some great meetings already with some of the most amazingly talented actors and directors in Indian cinema and I have no doubt that these individuals will help make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the globe,” Lee said in a statement.

The comic and animated versions of Chakra focuses on a teenage IT genius named Raju Rai who uses science and mystical chakras – the name given the seven centres of spiritual power in the human body according to ancient Indian mythology – to gain superpowers.

The live-action version will feature a grown-up version of Raju pitted against a villain named Yama.

Filming is expected to start in late 2015.
