#Legend: Tom Hanks’ welcomes Irrfan Khan to Inferno set with type-written note

Tom Hanks is widely considered one of the nicest actors in Hollywood and recently he showed why.

The two-time Oscar winner – one of the world’s biggest box office stars – sent a lovely little note to his co-star Irrfan Khan, welcoming Khan to the sets of ‘Inferno’, the big screen adaptation of Dan Brown’s best-selling novel of the same name.

Rather than a hand-written note, Hanks 58, clearly wrote the note on one of his beloved old type writers.  The actor is believed to have one of the world’s largest collections of old and vintage type writers.

The note reads: “This will be most pleasant movie to make, I think, provided you and I have a few more scenes together.  If not, we will have to save the world as is!”

Inferno is the latest movie adaptation of a Dan Brown book.

Whilst Hanks – who plays the character of Professor Robert Langdon – has been widely praised, the films themselves have not lived up to expectations, because the source material is so complex.

However, the prospect of Hanks teaming up with Irrfan on the big screen is something for fans to look forward to.

Irrfan plays the head of an organization that, unbeknownst to him, is planning a bio-terror attack on the scale of Dante’s mythological ‘Inferno’.

Filming is taking place across Europe and is set to release next year.
