Mystery surrounds Indian MBA student’s death in West London.

Rizvi

An Indian-origin student has died in apparently suspicious circumstances at a train station in West London.

A badly-injured Mir Baquer Ali Rizvi, a 34-year-old MBA student from Hyderabad, was found by police officers at Osterley station on 12 April.

He is said to have succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.   Speculation has been rife in his home town that Mr Rizvi may have been targeted in a “racist” attack.

According to some reports, Mr Rizvi had committed suicide by jumping in front of an oncoming train.

According to reports from India, Mr Rizvi – who has lived in London since 2010 – had been the victim of a “racially prejudiced” attack in which he was injured.

He had even had to return to India for treatment before returning to London and filing a complaint with the police.
