The man who defined an entire Bollywood era with his honey-tinged vocals is coming to London. And bringing his equally talented son with him for good measure.
Bollywood legend Udit Narayan, the Nepal-born singer who gave voice to some of the industry’s biggest names – including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar, will take to the stage this Saturday 24 October for a special concert where he will also be joined by son Aditya.
The duo will chart the evolution of Bollywood through their songs – from Narayan Senior’s work in such iconic films as ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Dil’ through 'Raja Hindustani', ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and ‘Rangeela’ all the way to Aditya Narayan’s pop anthems such as the infectious ‘Tattad Tattad’ from ‘Ram Leela’.
The duo have been performing frequently together since dad Udit encouraged young Aditya to take up music at the tender age of 5.
It’s all set to be a magical, family affair at The O2 in London on 24 October before father and son head over to Leicester for a concert at the city’s De Montfort Hall on 25 October.
