He may have mesmerized judges Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Khirron Kherr on India's Got Talent but eight-year-old India's Got Talent star Akshat Singh really made the big time this weekend when the precocious dancer appeared on hit US talk program 'The Ellen Show'.
Producers from the show - hosted by comedian and actress Ellen DeGeneres - invited Singh over after seeing him flex, thrust and gyrate his way into viewers' hearts on India's Got Talent in January.
His routine was a mash-up of moves from a slew of films starring Salman Khan, Singh's idol.
As he had on IGT, Singh made his debut on Ellen by entering on a toy motorcycle while dressed in an Indian police outfit, a la Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg.
After the music began, the 8-year-old broke out into handstands, flips and his signature pelvic-thrusting dance moves.
When asked if he thinks he will win the semifinals of IGT, Singh replied: "I've gone to India's Got Talent to show that 'motus' [chubby people] can also dance. I dance every day for three hours, and I eat more," he joked, drawing loud laughter from the audience.
He added a phrase in Hindi, which his translator said was "If there's no gas in the car, how will the car run?"
