The election of liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has rejuvenated Canada, once a beacon of hope for a divided world.
Mr Trudeau, much like his legendary father Pierre Trudeau, is seen as dynamic and, most importantly, inclusive. He’s received overwhelming support from Canada’s large migrant population.
And now he’s proved that he can get down with the Bhangra boys.
A video has emerged of the 43-year-old PM clad in a proper Kurta-Pyjami grooving like a LEGEND at an event organized by the India Canada Association of Montreal.
Dragged onto the floor by one of the participating women, Mr Trudeau proved himself an ace dancer, adapting to the steps quickly and then dancing away with abandon.
Seeing his enthusiasm, more people join in.
David Cameron tried to get “IN” with the Indian community in Britain by declaring: “Phir Ek Bar, Cameron Sarkar”.
British Indians, in turn, helped Mr Cameron sweep to power in May.
Imagine what would have happened if he had done a bit of “Light Bulb…Light Bulb…?”
